Parameterized Site Selection Approach of Park Entrance Based on Crowd Simulation and Design Requirement

With the extensive application of data analysis in various parts landscape design process, Building Information Modeling (BIM), City (CIM), and Landscape (LIM) all aim to achieve key sharing collaboration whole cycle promote development smart cities. element indicators are complex, diverse, difficult quantify, which is one reasons for slow LIM. However, with requirements LIM, quantifying elements transforming landscapes into digital information has become a hot spot industry. parametric aims transform quantifiable parameters, obtain scheme by changing value form results based on information. It foundations Based Rhino + Grasshopper (R+G) platform, this study takes Shuixizhuang Park as an example establishes approach park entrance. The involves several steps: (1) Confirming boundary points prepare basic design. (2) Utilizing Physarealm Algorithm Method (PAM) simulate crowd paths, Site Slope Model (SSAM) analyze terrain slope, Road Intersection (RIAM) determine scope entrance area national local codes, Crowd Density (CDAM) Convenience (CCAM) density convenience preliminarily confirm (3) Meeting vehicle gathering spread using Square Area Review (SARAM) Parking Lot (PLRAM) recheck site square lot optimize This constructs models R+G platform introduces PAM activity proposing method that integrates requirements. Compared classical design, derived from comprehensive reduces human interference, more scientific practical, better meets people entering park. also provides ideas other selections. By adjusting values can be applied selection landscapes.
